Like any other surgical procedure, the blepharoplasty procedure (eyelid surgery) will require you to take some downtime to heal and recover. Each person's experience of surgical recovery is a little different, and we will make sure you are fully prepared for yours.
We'll provide you with aftercare instructions as well as contact information for any questions or concerns you have as you recover.
Our aftercare instructions will let you know how to have a successful recovery, including what to plan for in regard to the following:
- Time off from work
- Restrictions on exercise and other physical activity
- Dietary restrictions
- Returning for follow-up appointments
- Take prescribed medications, if applicable
- Protecting your eyes from sun exposure
