Seeking a professional evaluation can help you determine what actions to take.
Symptoms of blepharospasm include:

- Dry or watering eyes
- Sensitivity to light
- Eye pain and soreness
- Irritation and discomfort of the eyelids
- Frequent eye movements
Although the condition in not life threatening, it often progresses over time prompting patients to seek treatment for its symptoms.
