The Nordlys system is quiet and comfortable providing you with a relaxed atmosphere during your treatment. The laser technology is minimally invasive and gentle. When used alone, there is no need for incisions, sutures or general anesthesia. Being non-surgical means there is little to no downtime for you, most Philadelphia IPL Laser patients do not have to stay home from work or wait for the healing to be completed.

The Nordlys IPL Laser system features four technological components:

1. The Ellipse IPL Laser which uses narrowband technology defined by a patented dual filters and sub-millisecond pulses for exceptional photo rejuvenation and vascular treatments
2. The Frax 1550 is a non-ablative fractional treatment for skin resurfacing and treatment of acne scars, surgical scars, and striae, with SoftCool for comfort during treatment
3. The Nd:YAG 1064 is designed to treat a wide range of vascular lesions from leg veins to port wine stains with integrated SoftCool for greater comfort during and after treatment.
4. SoftCool sends a focused stream of cool air for greater comfort during and after a treatment when using the Frax 1550 or the Nd:YAG 1064 technology.
