Fill Your Hollow Cheeks with Radiesse®

Hollow cheeks are mainly found in older adults when the body stops making enough collagen and elastin, two proteins that keep skin plump and firm. Loss of fatty tissue exacerbates the look of hollow cheeks; extreme athletes, if not properly nourished, can also show signs of hollow cheeks. The loss of these proteins and the fatty tissue can also manifest in sagging skin along the jawline. A lot of sun exposure and smoking can increase the development of hollow cheeks. While hollow cheeks are a sign of natural aging, you don't have to accept the way they make you look, especially the winkles and facial lines that come with them.

Radiesse® is a process that injects a filler made of Calcium Hydroxylapatite microspheres and an aqueous gel under the skin. It immediately provides plumping volume to fill out the wrinkles, but also encourages your body to make its own collagen and elastin. Your body will gradually absorb the gel and the microspheres will be metabolized, but your body will continue to produce the proteins needed. An injection can last for over a year, but you may need more than one injection to get optimal results. Radiesse® is mixed with an anesthetic to reduce pain.
