About Your Surgery

Any person undergoing surgery, whether it is for cosmetic or reconstructive purposes, will experience some level of nervousness. This is completely normal and is to be expected. If there is anything that we can do to make this a more pleasant and relaxed experience, or if you have any additional questions prior to your surgical date, please don’t hesitate to contact us so that we may further assist you.

On the morning of your surgery, Dr. Morgenstern will meet with you in the pre-operative holding area prior to surgery to make sure you have no additional questions, as well as review the planned surgical procedures. After surgery, Dr. Morgenstern will meet you in the recovery room area and review the post-operative instructions, as well as what to expect from your normal post-operative course. You may find your post-operative discussion with Dr. Morgenstern hard to remember. This is due to some of the anesthetic medications used during surgery to keep you comfortable. It is therefore recommended that a similar discussion be had with whoever accompanies you to the surgery.

To insure your best possible outcome, it is essential to be compliant with the post-operative instructions and to keep your post-operative follow up appointments as they are scheduled for you.

We thank you for trusting us in your medical care.
