Periocular Skin Cancer

Skin cancers can arise from any of the skin cells located within the layers of the skin.  Skin cancers of the face and eyelid usually arise from overexposure to the sun.  The most common types of Periocular skin cancers may appear as a painless nodule, or a sore that won’t heal.     

There are multiple treatment modalities.  We specialize in the surgical excision of these lesions, which involves the complete removal of the nodule with reconstruction of the area.  In most cases, there is minimal discomfort after surgery.  The correct treatment regimen for you will be discussed during your consultation with Dr. Morgenstern.
